The Apple Card lives in the Wallet app on an iPhone, charges no fees and pays cash back every day. Its rate depends on how you pay, and the trap is the titanium card in your pocket. This guide goes through what Apple lists in October 2026, how Daily Cash and Savings work, and when a different card is the better fit.

How Daily Cash works
Apple pays a percentage of each purchase back as Daily Cash, every day, and says it is real cash that never expires and has no limit. You can have it deposited onto an Apple Cash card, ready to send or spend, or route it into an Apple Card Savings account where it can earn interest.
- Daily Cash
- Apple's name for the reward. It is paid in cash every day, not in points.
- Apple Pay
- The payment feature on iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac, which earns the higher rates.
- Apple Card Savings
- An optional high-yield savings account opened through Apple Card.
| Where you pay | Daily Cash | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| Apple, and select merchants such as Nike, Uber and Walgreens | 3% | Select merchants need Apple Pay, and gift cards bought online or in the app are excluded. |
| Other purchases | 2% | With Apple Pay. |
| Titanium card or virtual card number | 1% | Used where Apple Pay is not accepted. |
| Apple products on Monthly Installments | 3% | On the purchase price up front. |
Apple also lists 2 percent in Booking.com Travel Credits on eligible stays and car rentals booked through its Booking.com link, a six-month Uber One trial and Hertz savings. These are fulfilled by those companies and can change at any time.
What the card costs, and what it does not
Apple says there are no fees of any kind, but it does charge interest on a balance, and the Wallet app shows an estimate of the interest you would pay before you choose how much to repay. Apple Card Monthly Installments give interest-free payments on Apple products, such as an iPhone or a Mac, and pay 3 percent Daily Cash on the price when you buy.

Eligibility and the application
You apply on an iPhone, in the Wallet app, in as little as a minute. Apple says you can see whether you are approved with no impact on your credit score, and that accepting the card after approval results in a hard inquiry.
Check your phone
You need an iPhone and Wallet, since the card lives there.
Apply and read the terms
Read the credit limit, the APR range and what Apple lists for Daily Cash.
Decide how you will pay
Add the card to Apple Pay and keep the titanium card for places that do not take it.
