How to ask for your RewardVane account to be deleted, what happens during the 30 days of waiting, how to take the request back, and what is removed or kept.
2026/10/04
You can ask to delete your RewardVane account at any time, in the app or on the website. Asking does not delete anything that day. Deletion cannot be undone, so it happens after a waiting period, and you can stop it until then. This page explains the steps and what happens to your data.
The wait protects you if someone else gets into your account, or if you ask by mistake.
The card then shows the day it will happen and a Keep my account button.
The account is shared by the website and the apps, so a request made in either place applies to both, and so does taking it back.
Choose Keep my account in the banner at the top of any page on the website, on Settings → Data and privacy, or on the delete page in the app. Nothing more is asked, because stopping a deletion is never the harmful direction.
Before the day you can also download a copy of your account data under Settings → Data and privacy. Once the account is removed, a copy can no longer be made.
Write to company@houshan.de from the email address on the account. We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we answer within 30 days.
After the day, the account service deletes the account itself and the records tied to it: your email address and display name, sign-in methods and sessions, membership and entitlement records, redeemed-code and invitation records, channel subscriptions, AI usage counters and consent records, and the tips, reviews, corrections and reports you sent. If you subscribed to our mailing list, your address is taken off it first; if the list does not answer, the removal waits for the next attempt instead of leaving your address there. Copies in backups are removed when those backups expire.
We keep a short receipt that an account was removed, with the date and how many records of each kind went. It holds no name, email address or content.
Once the account has been removed it cannot be restored. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect and why.
