Tips
Seen it first? Tell us.
A new rule, a targeted offer, a mistake in a post. Send it with a link if you have one. A person reads every tip before anyone else can, and an editor writes up what holds up.
What happens to a tip
You send it
Say what you saw, add a link if you have one, and say if you gain anything from it.
A person reads it
Nobody else sees it until a person has read it. A first look is promised within 48 hours.
An editor writes it up
If it holds up against a source, an editor writes it up. Anything that could not be confirmed says so.
You can follow it
Each tip shows where it stands in your account. If one is declined you get the reason, and 30 days to ask a different reviewer to look again.
What makes a good tip
- It says where it comes from: a link, a notice number, or that you saw it yourself.
- It is about one thing: one card, one offer, one route.
- It says what you get from it, if anything, such as a referral reward.
- It is about cards, points, spending or travel rewards.
What gets declined
- Card numbers, ID numbers, phone numbers or e-mail addresses. The form refuses text that looks like one.
- Asking readers to continue in private chat, or leaving contact details.
- Claims that cannot be checked against any reliable source.
- A promotion that does not say who benefits.
What you send is read only by the team that reviews and writes up tips, with automated tools helping to sort it. A person makes every decision, and your account is never named when a tip is written up. Read the Community Guidelines
