What keeps points alive

With no accrual or redemption for 36 consecutive months, the whole Avios balance expires on the 36-month anniversary of the last activity. For one year after that you can revalidate expired Avios for a non-refundable fee, and revalidated Avios are valid for another 36 months. Purchased, gifted and boosted Avios follow the same rule.

These are statements from each programme's own terms on the day shown. Programmes change their rules, and promotional points often have shorter lives, so read the terms before you rely on a date.

Logos belong to their owners. They appear here only to show which programme is meant, and do not suggest that any programme or owner is connected with, or endorses, this site.
