What keeps points alive

A member with no qualifying activity for 18 consecutive calendar months loses all points and the account goes inactive. Earning or redeeming points (a points-eligible stay, a redemption, a partner earning, buying points) pushes the date back; a reward-night stay or registering for a promotion does not count. Elite members (Gold and above) are exempt while they hold status; after losing it, the date is set 18 months out. Expired points can be reinstated for a fee within 180 days, up to 1,000,000 points.

Where this comes from

These are statements from each programme's own terms on the day shown. Programmes change their rules, and promotional points often have shorter lives, so read the terms before you rely on a date.

Logos belong to their owners. They appear here only to show which programme is meant, and do not suggest that any programme or owner is connected with, or endorses, this site.
