What keeps points alive
Points expire one year (12 months) after the last time you earned or used them (earn or spend on 4 August 2026 and the date is 4 August 2027); each new earning or use pushes the date on. Points held under an ID that is not linked to your Ponta ID (a Recruit ID or an au ID) are instead counted from the last time points were added to that ID, and run to the end of the month twelve months later. Once the date passes the points disappear, but the same Ponta ID keeps working.
