What keeps points alive
Avios expire when the account has had no Avios earned or spent for 36 months; the system warns you at least two months ahead, and expired Avios cannot be recovered. Transfers of Avios (between members, or to and from British Airways Club, Vueling Club or another Avios scheme) do not count as activity. After 48 months with no activity the account is withdrawn automatically.
