What keeps points alive
Award miles are kept for 36 months from the travel date, or from the date a partner transfer was applied, and expired miles are cancelled without notice. Where local law forbids expiry by time alone, miles last only if you redeem some within the 36 months and also fly an EVA Air or UNI Air international flight in the 12 months before they would expire.
