What keeps points alive

Skywards Miles are valid for three years (36 months) from the date of earning, but in the calendar year they are due to lapse they are removed at the end of your birth month (earned June 2019 with an August birthday: they expire on 31 August 2022). Platinum members' miles do not expire while they hold Platinum. Miles due to lapse within three months can be extended 12 months for a fee, and miles that lapsed in the last six months can be reinstated for a fee.

These are statements from each programme's own terms on the day shown. Programmes change their rules, and promotional points often have shorter lives, so read the terms before you rely on a date.

Logos belong to their owners. They appear here only to show which programme is meant, and do not suggest that any programme or owner is connected with, or endorses, this site.
