What keeps points alive
Time value, the scheme's points, never expires, and the tier it sets only goes up: it is never reset or lowered. Redeeming lowers only the usable time value, not the total that decides the tier. Redeeming 7,000 usable time value for a hotel night is a limited-time offer; its rules are on the page shown in the app.
