What keeps points alive
Reward Points are valid for 365 days (12 months) from the date of the eligible spend: the check-out date for a hotel stay, the day they are credited for other earnings. A transaction that credits Reward Points, or a donation of points, extends the whole balance by another 365 days; if nothing does, every Reward Point is lost without notice and cannot be restored. Status Points are separate and last until 31 December of the year they were earned.
