A US prepaid carrier selling 3-, 6- and 12-month plans. A lapsed term suspends the line, and after 60 days Mint may reassign the number.

How to keep the number
Mint plans are prepaid. When a term (3, 6 or 12 months) ends without a renewal payment, the account is suspended. If no renewal is paid within 60 days of suspension, Mint may cancel the account and reassign the number, and the number may then be impossible to transfer to another carrier. Keeping it means renewing before the term ends, or at the latest inside the 60-day suspension. Some terms start at an introductory monthly price that rises at renewal; the 12-month plans below are listed at a regular price.
