RewardVane

Mac and Windows

RewardVane on your computer

Your cards stay on your devices. The desktop clients are a larger view of the same encrypted library on your phone—not a website login and not a cloud copy on our servers.

No signed Mac or Windows installer is published on this site yet. When one is, this page lists the version, size, SHA-256 and minimum system version from the manifest—nothing guessed here.

What it is—and what it is not

Your library, on your computer

The desktop client keeps your card library encrypted on the machine you install it on. RewardVane’s website and servers do not store your cards.

Phone first

Your phone remains the primary place for cards, capture and badges. The desktop app is the same data in a larger layout—not a second ledger you maintain by hand.

No account required to use your cards

You can use the client without signing in to the website. Signing in only affects Pro benefits, the same principle as the browser extension.

No telemetry

The product plan excludes analytics and crash payloads that could carry card or amount text. This page only describes that intent; the shipped client must match the spec before release.

Getting data from your phone

The first release is planned to move an encrypted backup file from the phone to the desktop—AirDrop, a cable or a folder you control—not a RewardVane cloud. Real-time sync is a later decision and is not promised here.

Common questions

Is the desktop app available now?

Not yet. Mac and Windows installers appear on /download only after they are signed, copied to this site and checksum-verified.

Do I need a RewardVane account?

No, to view and manage your own cards locally. An account is for website features and Pro, not for storing your card library on our servers.

Will my cards sync automatically?

The first planned path is an encrypted backup file you move yourself. Automatic sync over the network is not part of the first release promise.

How is this different from the website?

The website explains rules and public card pages. It never holds your personal card library. The desktop client is software on your machine that does.

Is there a Linux build?

Not in the current plan. Status for Mac and Windows is always on the download page.

Where do I report a bad download?

Use Contact with the file name and SHA-256 shown here. Do not install a file whose hash does not match.

Current download page status: Mac coming, Windows coming. Those words mirror the channel cards—nothing extra is claimed here.
